Mr. Incredible and I are leaving for Hawaii in 3 1/2 days!!!  We managed to get tickets at ridiculously awesome prices ($411 per person!) and we will be visiting his sister and two nieces, plus two friends of mine.  It is going to be awesome!  We are going scuba diving, hiking around the island, and get some beach time in :) No point to the post really.  Just felt like bragging a little ;)

Cory's family and mine got together briefly shortly after my last post.  It went well.  We met at a little dessert shop near our house and talked for a couple hours.  I was distant most of the time for self-preservation reasons even though I was trying hard not to be for the sake of Scoot, Beezer and Cory.  My parents and sisters enjoyed seeing them and I looked for a quick exit when I needed it.

I will NEVER watch the new NBC tv show, Mercy.  (It is another medical drama trying to replace the large hole ER left in the NBC evening line-up.)  I only caught the second half of tonight's episode but that was enough to make me irate and leave teeth marks in my finger from biting it so hard to avoid screaming at the tv. As promised, here is a picture of the ornament I painted for Cory this year :) Front says "Merry Christmas" but the black was a little too dark on the blue. Back says: To: Cory Love: Sherri 2009 The snowman was painted separate and then glued on before it was fired. The icicles on the top stand out with puff paint and speckled white. Anyone see that new show "Castle" on ABC? I usually love it. It has witty writing, good story lines and the acting is fun. Tonight's episode involved a child being kidnapped. Scoot and Beezer gave me a great Christmas present this year when we saw them this past Sunday. Last night was a rough night. I was in need of a good cry so I opened up a box that I haven't been in since March of this year when we moved. It contains most (if not all) of my adoption related papers. Well, I survived Cory's birthday :) The day was actually pretty nice. Cory hasn't called Beezer mama yet. He says da-da, ba-ba, wa-wa, a-nai-yi-nai, all kinds of baby words. When you ask him where mama is he points to Beezer. He knows who she is but he won't say the words. Both Scoot and Beezer have worked had with him to get him to say it but he refuses for some reason.My mom was asking Beezer about this at our last visit. Beezer is sad that he won't say it.
